Happy Monday gorgeous ones! Almost all game players have heard about Resident Evil games, if not played, and yes, there is also the movie. Both Resident evil movies and Resident evil games are great and a hit ever. But which one is better for you bros? Personally, the games. Some reasons to find out more...
First and foremost,the movies are great, sure, but the games are far more nostalgic, whether that be Resident Evil 6 or all the way back to Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The games is what some fans like more not only because they bring back memories, but because you will immerse deeper than a movie. In the games, you are in control of every action or decision, or even every bullet you want to fire. It does, of course, follow the developer's story they laid out, but you take control of the character. You are the character, and can move independently throughout the environment.
Taking into account the remake of Resident Evil 1, titled, "Resident Evil" for GameCube. This is a great example of independently breaking apart the story and morphing it on your own. While some puzzles do have to be completed in order, most are entirely up to you. You can choose whether or not to unlock the Graveyard's underground cell during the beginning, or whenever you acquire all four death masks. As i said, it may have a set plot, but you are in control of everything else. It is a lot scarier too, since you don't expect the scares. While the movie scares are unexpected too, you are more concentrated in the game, thus resulting in a much scarier scare. I prefer the old Resident Evil games with the fixed cameras so you REALLY don't expect what's coming at you. The "Over-The-Shoulder" game play is still scary, but fixed angles are better.
Second, what is the problem? Well, Paul W.S. Anderson took a survival horror franchise, based on little ammo and shooting, with an emphasis on exploration, plot, and ambience, and turned it into a zombie action-horror franchise, which is not that witty. The movies was brimming with far too much shooting, action sequences and lame special effects.
Finally, from the perspective of atmosphere , it is especially important: paying attention to the music and sound style, carefully conceived to create and maintain a creepy ambience throughout the game.

Paul Anderson did not have any ideas about it. He made movies with a video game aesthetic based on the games with a cinematic aesthetic. However, this reversal is the problem.
Once again, play the games. Use the ink ribbons, listen to Leon’s loud footsteps in the dark, be jump scared by lurking zombies, listen to the music and ambient sounds, be immersed in the gaming experience, the way the original countries developers intended.
